Halal Meat Processing & Halal Certification
Meat at all stages of activities is processed according to Islamic Rituals. Halal Slaughter is supervised by an Authorized, Renowned and Reputed Islamic Organization of India viz. JAMIAT ULAMA-E-HIND HALAL TRUST. Each consignment is accompanied by the Halal Certificate mentioning that the meat of the animals so slaughtered at Amroon Foods is ‘HALAL’ and, therefore, suitable for consumption by Muslims in any part of the world.
Approvals Of Establishment
Amroon has all the mandatory certifications of permission, No objection certificates, consent, recommendation and registration from the relevant offices including Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Agricultural and Processed Food Export Development Authority (APEDA) and Ministry of Food Processing. Besides an in-house team of veterinary doctors, the government of India has posted an experienced veterinary officers for ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection, meat inspection and inspection of processing, hygiene and sanitation.
AVAILABILITY OF HEALTHY ANIMALS
India has the largest population of buffaloes. The Amroon plant is ideally located in Uttar Pradesh, the largest buffalo growing state in the country. The animals are brought on an agreed specification, which covers the process and hygiene requirements, which are again ensured by Ante-mortem and Post-mortem examination by qualified Veterinarians.
Further, animals are not fed on hormones and growth promoters, they are raised under organic farming system
QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY ASSURANCE PROGRAMME
In order to direct and control the activities of the establishment and to provide confidence that meat Quality and Safety requirements will be fulfilled, the company has adopted programmes which prevents nonconformities. The programme include inspections and testing by in-house as well External Laboratories.
The livestock and carcasses are counter checked by the appointed doctor. Finally, the deputed doctor confirms its approval by issuing a certificate which mentions in detail that the meat is safe, healthy, unadulterated and free from diseases and contamination.
ISO & HACCP Certification & Laboratory
The company has implemented and maintain the Quality Management Systems certified for ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 22000:2005.
The company has implemented Food Safety Management System HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) based on the guidelines given by CODEX ALIMENTARIUS COMMISSION. The Company is certified for the ISO & HACCP by Society Generale De Surveillance (SGS) Ltd &Det Norkse Veritas Management System (DNV).
